What you'll do

Your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • dealing with customer enquiries about the availability and cost of vehicles
  • taking bookings and explaining the terms of rental or leasing agreements
  • completing paperwork with the customer and taking payments
  • showing customers to their vehicle and pointing out any bumps, scrapes or special features
  • checking mileage and inspecting for damage when vehicles are returned
  • providing ongoing service and sales support, if you deal with regular business leasing accounts
  • admin related jobs which including dealing with penalty charge notices

Working environment

You will work in an office. You may need to wear a uniform. (Supplied by us)

Career path and progression

With experience, you could move into a supervisory or management position.

With experience in business leasing accounts, you could become an account manager, or move into fleet management.

  • overseeing competitions and campaigns promoting your company
  • taking part in conferences and group chat relevant to your industry or company
  • educating other staff on social media use

  • developing strategies to increase your audience
  • using social media tools like Hootsuite, TweetDeck or Buffer to manage multiple sites
